Hi I’m Jan. I have been at 2WAY FM since the 1990s. I started with a TAFE community radio course with David Mayne as our teacher. I also drove (very early) up to Kempsey many times to sit in with the presenter on ABC Mid North Coast. I’ve been hanging out at 2WAY FM since we had a little studio up near the Wauchope hospital. I recall queueing up my cassettes to have them perfectly ready to play, which was quite a rigmarole! When we started at our current location in Wauchope, presenting did get easier with CDs. I was passionate about the School’s Out program and often had my son Nat and his friends come to present if no school was available. I was the School’s Out coordinator on and off for many years and loved panelling for the students.

My passion is playing mostly contemporary Australian music and I love my road trips, as it’s the only time I really get to the music. There’s almost no place that I’d rather go than 2WAY FM. A huge thanks to all our listeners who donate to support us.
