She has been presenting the program since March 2017. Born in Argentina, she grew up with the sounds of guitar, the Paraguayan harp, charango and tango music. In her teenage years salsa music and dance was popular.
These Latin rhythms are reflected in her program, playing songs from Latin American countries such as Cuba, Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru and Argentina.

Liz says she’s met some wonderful people (listeners and presenters) through being a radio presenter, and still enjoys presenting her programs.
Jan Francis
Jan says: Hi I’m Jan. I have been at 2WAY FM since the 1990s. I started with a TAFE community radio course with David Mayne as our teacher. I also drove (very early) up to Kempsey many times to sit in with the presenter on ABC Mid North Coast. I’ve been hanging out at 2WAY FM since we had a little studio up near the Wauchope hospital. I recall queueing up my cassettes to have them perfectly ready to play, which was quite a rigmarole! I think I also used some records in those years. When we started at our current location in Wauchope, presenting did get easier with CDs. I was passionate about the School’s Out program and often had my son Nat and his friends come to present if no school was available. I was the School’s Out coordinator on and off for many years and loved panelling for the students.
My passion is playing mostly contemporary Australian music and I love my road trips, as it’s the only time I really get to the music. There’s almost no place that I’d rather go than 2WAY FM. A huge thanks to all our listeners who donated recently to support us in purchasing new equipment.

Deana Halford
Deana is my name. I was born in Argentina, of mixed blood: Scottish, Irish and Spanish with Paraguayan parents. I love music, singing and humming and bright colours. After I married an Australian I moved to New Zealand then Australia, where I was introduced to Wauchope community radio by a presenter man years ago. Consequently, my radio program was titled Hummingbirds. I enjoy sharing my love of music.
Christine Woolnough
I’ve been ay 2WAY since 2011. It happened by chance, when I was interviewed by Rod Worthing in a Friday ‘What’s On’ program. The interview was regarding Lions Club International as I had just completed a year of serving a District Governor. I thought to myself ‘this looks like something I could do’, as I love music! I started in a Breakfast program then went on to Homeward Bound. Not sure how I got to be on ‘Monday Morning Access’ and Friday ‘What’s On’, but I have enjoyed these programs immensely.
I’ve had the pleasure to interview so many interesting people from many and varied organisations. I’ve been volunteering since late 1995 with Cancer Council and Lions Clubs. I have to say volunteering at 2WAY FM has been very enjoyable, with my love for music and knowing that we have an audience who love to listen every day.
Stephen Johnson
Stephen hates being called Stevie J but that’s now his on-air name for his 2WAY FM programs Manic Sunday (from 10:30 to midday) and The Latte Show on Friday nights (10 to midnight). It’s short and catchy. He specialises in seeing the silly side of life’s absurdities as a Camden Haven local. Having been a journalist in Newcastle, Darwin, Brisbane, Canberra and Sydney, Stephen is also looking out for good local stories and characters. Tune in for some classic hits and a look at what’s verging on the ridiculous.
Sue Zwaan
My history at 2WAY FM spans 18 months. I sat with Christine in the studio on Monday mornings for several weeks and got very interested. I had some official training and then was invited to be a presenter with Brenda alternating on Thursday mornings from 9 ‘In The Mood’.
My music selection tends to be fairly eclectic, no particular genre, in fact it spans quite a few. As a pianist myself I often go more for the melody and rhythm of a song than the actual lyrics.
Other interests are travel and other cultures. I visited India and Morocco last year and recently New Zealand (my home country).
Terry Clifton
Terry moved to Port Macquarie in 1984, bought a small service station and built the business. After selling that business he had a mechanical workshop in Bellbowrie Street. He has been a mechanic all his life.
He loves music, so he became involved with 2WAY FM in the 1990s, and has been a presenter ever since. His other interests include motor racing, especially Bathurst, water skiing (he claims he is too old now), he also raced go karts for many years and he enjoys country music festivals.
Terry is passionate about Australia and where we live. He was previous a volunteer with Power Of Choice, visiting schools offering driver education, which received community awards for their efforts.
